The massage is aimed at ensuring the functionality of the client’s musculoskeletal system, as well as other organ systems (digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, etc.). Massage has a direct effect on receptors located on the surface of the human body, not on deeper structures (muscles, blood vessels, internal organs). Massage therapy involves the right choice of techniques and techniques, for each client individually, and the massage is mainly aimed at problem areas.
The purpose of the massage is to improve the oxygen supply to the tissues and remove toxins, which in turn speeds up the metabolism, restores energy stores, corrects muscle tone, improves skin elasticity and condition, and speeds up blood and lymph flow. Massage increases the amount of blood in the tissue and reduces muscle pain.
For best results, it is recommended to perform therapeutic massage regimen 5-10 times, with breaks of 4-7 days.
Indications:
- muscle tension, muscle dysfunction, scar tissue between muscle fibers
- musculoskeletal disorders (eg gait defects, excessive muscle tension on one side of the body)
- tension headaches
- slowed intestinal peristalsis
- weakness of the immune system
- accumulation of fluids and residues in the body (lymphatic massage)
- tiredness
Contraindications
- acute heart, kidney and liver failure;
- b tumors (even suspicion);
- fever (massage releases even more unwanted toxins into the body);
- lupus and emphysema;
- thyroid disease and too high or too low blood pressure;
- tuberculosis and others. infectious and inflammatory diseases (including inflammatory joints and organs);
- acute trauma, purulent wounds, bleeding, risk of thrombosis or embolism venous inflammation (massage may be performed in other areas);
- dilation of advanced blood vessels;
- pregnancy (no massage of the abdomen, during the first three months – risk of miscarriage);
- large birthmarks and hematomas in the massaged area;
- active mental states;
- some skin diseases (contact dermatitis, fungi);
- edema (lymphatic massage required);
- alcohol or drug intoxication.

After the massage, you should drink plenty of fluids and rest.
