The length of the massage depends on the severity of the problem and the goal you want to achieve. For minor problems, up to five times are usually sufficient. Chronic muscle tension and stiffening are likely to require about ten sessions. Different people may take different times to fix a seemingly similar problem. Often, the pain subsides after the first session, or even during it, but it usually takes more time to eliminate the cause of the discomfort.
If you do not go for a massage, it is good to take it once or twice a year for an average of 6-10 times. It gives the body a new supply of strength, reduces tension and also acts prophylactically – reducing the risk of minor injuries, preventing fatigue and stress.
How often should you go for a massage?
You should have a massage at least once a week while walking, even better than going twice a week.
